All across your scalp, neck and shoulders you have many groups of muscles. Stress and tension, as we all experience in everyday life, causes these muscles to contract and hold the tension in. Eventually the muscles become strained and exhausted and begin to relax, causing aching, throbbing pain. some people suffer with tension headaches, and feel a tight vice like grip around their head. Others feel tightness in their upper back and shoulders.
Indian Head Massage works on releasing the tension within the muscles of the upper back, neck and scalp. As well as feeling wonderful, this process helps you to remove toxins from the muscles by boosting circulation. The extra blood flow improves the condition of the scalp and stimulates oil production to leave your hair soft and rejuvenated.
(Not recommended for anyone with scalp psoriasis or spinal disorders)
It is best to wear a collarless shirt in a light fabric. We will ask you to remove jewelry.
